Rucker Comparisons

Post by bbeduhn » Mon May 11, 2020 11:18 am

These listings will show Rucker Indices from many different states. There is no magic number for the sites I've chosen. The cutoff is higher for states with more sites measured. I'm allowing lower numbers where very few numbers are available. These comparisons use some numbers that are nearly 20 years old in some cases. The dearth of sites from some states may mean that very few sites have been visited by ENTS or that not enough data were taken to determine a Rucker Index.

Many thanks to the measurers who've put countless hours into hiking, measuring, and posting to the board!

edit : I will update each site to show the measurer/measurers. Some do not want their data to be used outside of this website. After I update it, permission to use data then can be requested.

Jess Riddle has the most site reports.

Will Blozan probably has the second most.

Others who have contributed significantly:

Colby Rucker
Eli Dickerson
Elijah W
Erik Danielson
Michael Davie
Steve Galehouse
Rand Brown
Matt Markworth
Dale Luthringer
George Fieo
Darian Copiz
Larry Tucei
Don Bragg
Josh Kelly
Bob Leverett
Rick Koval
Turner Sharp
Doug Bidlack
Tom Howard
Mark Rouw
Ryan LeClair
Ryan Dallas
Stefan Radivoyevitch
Jared Lockwood
Dan the Man
Tyler Phillips
John Eichholz

The numbers are taken from the BBS Board and the previous Board as well. I'm starting with state numbers and will then list the highest sites. Great Smoky Mountains NP will be treated as its own state.
