Dupont State Forest

Post by bbeduhn » Mon Mar 23, 2020 11:24 am

Dupont State Forest is known for its waterfalls. It is not known for hardwood habitat. It does have very suitable pine habitat. I plan to spend more time there this summer. So far, I've measured in the waterfalls area on family hikes. White pine does rather well. I haven't measured much else.

Little River, near the waterfalls

Pinus strobus 149.6' 149.0' 144.9' 144.3'
Tsuga canadensis 111.3'
