352.2’ Redwood in HRSP

Post by John Montague » Sat Oct 19, 2019 12:11 am

Here’s a 352.2’ redwood in HRSP that I discovered back in 2016. Its name is Bartlin Glatt. It’s been a process locating every 350 in the range, and the journey is winding down. Enjoy.

Good work John. For new 350’s maybe a couple new ones each year due to growth over time.

John,

Thanks for keeping us informed. The number of 350s out there is so far beyond the old counts in the days prior to your and the other great redwood hunters entry on the scene. I wonder if you and the others have developed a consensus for what you think the absolute maximums are for redwood and Doug fir.
