Hi everyone,
I'm excited to find this group and hope to get some tips on hunting big trees -- I'd like to visit all the Georgia champion trees, especially the ones with a 300+ score. There's not a lot of info on the Georgia Forestry Commission's site -- does anyone know if there is a GPS coordinate listing somewhere? If not, where would you recommend I visit?

Hi James- Welcome to NTS. Usually state listings to do have GPS coord., for various reasons. Each county would have a Forester I would start by contacting them. They should know where the county champs are. The largest trees can also be found in Georgia National Forests I would start in those areas. Forest Rangers would also know where the larger trees would be in their region. Hope this helps. Larry
