I tried replying to one of your questions and posting a new topic about my oak dilemma in the live oak project forum but they have to be approved by a mod. How long does that last? Is it a time thing or number of posts? I was just trying to keep things in their proper "area". I've been involved with many forums for about 15 years. All of them have different deals like these. I try to be respectful and pc. Thanks for the welcome, Larry.

Hello,
Once your initial post has been made, then you can post in most areas without moderation. The science forums and some of the project forums are moderated for everyone to keep the focus of these forums and to eliminate some of the general chatter. I check regularly and approve posts to these sections usually within a few hours. You can post to the general discussion forum about anything and if it should be in a specific moderated topic, it can be moved to the correct forum later.
