The International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers.
" We represent a global alliance of prayer, education and healing for our Mother Earth, all Her inhabitants, all the children, and for the next seven generations to come.
We are deeply concerned with the unprecedented destruction of our Mother Earth and the destruction of indigenous ways of life. We believe the teachings of our ancestors will light our way through an uncertain future.
We look to further our vision through the realization of projects that protect our diverse cultures: lands, medicines, language and ceremonial ways of prayer and through projects that educate and nurture our children ".

For The Next 7 Generations
is a documentary that reveals the importance of Indigenous knowledge in our world today as shared by thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers, wise elders, shamans and medicine women, from all four corners of the world. This film reveals timeless wisdom to help us make a difference in our every day lives in service of peace, of Mother Earth and healing in the world.

"I love science and it pains me to think that so many are terrified of the subject or feel that choosing science means you cannot also choose compassion, or the arts, or be awe by nature. Science is not meant to cure us of mystery, but to reinvent and revigorate it." by Robert M. Sapolsky

Re: International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmother
I wonder since their meeting will be held in Stockholm this year if there will be anyone invited to represent the indigenous people of Sweden -- the descendants of the native Germanic people who followed the retreating glaciers and migrating game species north into the Scandinavian peninsula from Jutland/Germany more than 10,000 years ago.Join Us in Stockholm!
Now we call all our Grandmothers and Grandfathers to come to a Council meeting in Stockholm! The meeting is honoring the Saami people and all Indigenous peoples.
