I believe that wraps everything up. If there are any data requests or any data analysis requests, please let me know. I enjoy going through the data so don't be shy.

My next move will be to update the remainder of the data with Latin and metric, and then post to the appropriate state, territory or region.

Brian,

For what it’s worth, the N. Red oak on the Deerfield River watershed is now 129.8 feet, courtesy of Jared Lockwood’s last measurement.

Brian,

there are a number of Ontario measurements that you must have missed. Your list of Ontario trees has #10 at 71.3' for a Quaking Aspen. Here are all the ones that I know about (and that are not on your list) that are taller than 71.3'.

125.0' White Pine
94.8' White Spruce
88.5' Quaking Aspen
87.1' Red Pine
79.5' Yellow Birch
77.8' Balsam Fir
73.5' Balsam Poplar

Kouta and I measured the White Spruce and I measured the rest.

:o Holy smokes, Brian! Wow- you've been busy during Covid! I haven't checked the BBS in years but I may have found a tulip over 170' in North Georgia so I had to see what Jess and other had measured in the past and I landed here. What a fantastic resource. Thank you!!

Hi Brian,

Well, this data I am about to give you won't contribute much to the Pennsylvania Rucker, but there are 2 new records that could be updated, for data's sake.

The Pignut Hickory Height champ was 148.8 Feet in height, you currently have it at 146.6 or something close to that.

Also, Just recently Scott Wade found a 140 Foot Chestnut Oak at Longwood Gardens, measured using the sine method.

Hope this helps your lists,
Russ
