I think these Haikus by you guys are great. You know the trees so well that nobody else could write with such knowledge and thoughtfulness. Here's one. I don't even know if it makes sense, but I do like trying.

Empire State Building-
the honey locust peers up.
Doubtful succession.

my litery skills are similar to my drawing skills- at the first grade level- though I have contemplated writing some rap tunes on the forestry world....

hmmm..... how about some rap tunes about big tree measuring? I'd love to video tape Bob Leverett rapping about his latest laser tools
