At the risk of bending this thread slightly off-topic, I believe this president will be regarded much better by history than present-day noise would suggest. And I say that as one who has not always been in complete agreement with the man. TPP for instance is yet another giveaway to giant, multi-national corporations IMO. I do sometimes ask myself however-Obama's obviously a very smart guy; Could it be that he knows something we don't-maybe something about China's intentions, etc.....that lends credence to his insistence on the value of such agreements. As far as I can tell-and I'm no slouch in researching such items-this is a bad deal for the world's environment, this nation's workers, and other entities we hold dear. But the president is, in the main, much, much better than the day's din would have one believe....again, IMO.
