I'll be happy participate as I'm able in upstate NY and the surrounding area. I'm fairly confident in my ability in identifying and measuring northeastern trees, and have the basic tools, as John mentioned earlier. However, I've not attended any NTS events or workshops, and would need to do so before doing any work representing the organization and/or AF. I've wanted to meet up with other ents for a couple years now, but, for the most part, my job hasn't allowed me to do so. Also, I can't speak for Tom Howard, but I think we'd make a great team for our neck of the woods.

However these AF meetings work out, you're doing a yeoman's work, Bob. Thank you for your efforts.

Great! We'll count you in. BTW, I'm at Point Au Rouch, NY right now. I'm going to be measuring big cottonwoods today. This region is loaded with great cottonwoods, but not many people like the species. I love 'um. Pictures and numbers later.

I'd like to get involved as well. Elijah and I make a good team here in central NY. I'd like to pitch in whenever I can.

My brother and I also love Cottonwoods. There are awesome Cottonwoods just north of you in Quebec.

I'd like to be confirmed as well but my time is severely limited and will be for at least the next year or so. If only we had other competent measurers in Western North Carolina! :)
