Just wanted to give you my "Oprah" book recommendation and it is "The Big Burn" by Timothy Egan.  I am part way into this book and I think many of you ENTS and WNTS would find it an interesting read.   It tells the tale of Teddy Roosevelt and Gifford Pinchot efforts to conservation and about the big forest fire of 1910.  Not sure if all of you might be a fan of everything Gifford Pinchot stood for but he did help curb some of the large organizations to gobbling up everything.  I am not finished with it yet but so far the book is great.

Marc,

Thanks for the recommendation.  I will look for the book and check it out.
