Welcome to ENTS (and WNTS for that matter, noticing that you spent some quality time in WA), Dan! I think you'll find our forum a relatively "untrammelled wilderness", with mostly gentle folks with a deep abiding love for most things forested, undisturbed, pristine, ancient, and off-trail.
Explore our new 'terrain' (our new Bulletine Board based forum), and get to know Ed Frank if you've any questions technical.
Tell us about the new Mt. Pleasant Nat'l Scenic area!
