Hello from New York!

I am glad to be here. I would like to broaden my knowledge about trees and forests of our country, especially the place where I live. I am little fed up of being such an ignorant (which I consider myself to be) and decided to change that :)

Welcome to the forums. I'm pretty new here myself and also here in NY- way over on the western tip, past Buffalo. What part of New York are you based in? It's quite a state, after all, even though people I meet while traveling assume I must live in the vicinity of NYC and hang out in the city all the time!
