ENTS:
While attending my niece's graduation from Wesleyan University yesterday, I of course had time to look for tall and large trees. I didn't have to look far... in the backyard of her apartment was a very impressive red oak, 16.1'c x 106'h. it is located behind 59 Home Avenue in Middletown, CT.

Another great oak by the name " Middleton ". Judging by the car in the photo it looks pretty dang big. The one behind the car looks sizeable too.

Yeah, they probably shouldn't park on the roots like that, but in a college housing setting, good luck with that!

Connecticut has endless big tree possibilities. It is relatively close to us and I feel that I, in particular, have been profligate in not going down there more often. I hate the congestion.
