Vandalism of Sycamore Trees in Connecticut

Post by michael gatonska » Tue Mar 16, 2010 7:56 pm

Hi ENTS

I was just wondering if anyone knew as to whether or not these Sycamore trees in Park City will be able to survive?

Wow, that's pretty awful. Terrible thing.
I don't see how they can survive. They appear to have been entirely girdled.

I just wonder why no one heard the chainsaws running or saw the people doing this? The area looks fairly populated and chainsaws are noisy. Plus this took a little time to do.

I hope they catch em' and they get considerable jail time outta this!
