The heavy rain-ice-snow storm that hit New York City on Saturday October 29th may have destroyed over 1,000 trees. Awful. I have not been there yet, but plan to go tomorrow. Poor trees! And it was promising to be a gorgeous season of foliage. And hope the migrating birds got out the night before.
