Bob, you asked, "Are there many supporters of...." to which I will simply say yes, of course there are some good people who have the necessarily wide-angle view. But the mega-trend...the big thing that's happening is young forests. Both as a nod to the forest products industry in this state...never known for a long-term outlook.....and the dubious wildlife claims....this has a head of steam. Surely there are pockets of weirdos like myself, people who actually care about the long-term outlook. We're a tiny minority.
