River dolphins in tree tops

Post by Bosque » Mon Nov 02, 2015 1:20 pm

Here's a bizarre request for all you scientist, photographer, artist, and other members. I once saw a beautiful depiction of a dolphin swimming through the top branches of a tree during the flooding of the Amazon. It was on a greeting card in a bookstore. Even though it was a very striking image, I can't remember now, 20 years later, what medium was used. I picture a photograph. I've looked through Google images with no luck. Any other suggestions? It was so beautiful. I'd love to find something like it. Why I didn't buy the card at the time I'll never know. Thanks. Carol Diamond

Thanks Lucas. I didn't see any dolphins, but they were interesting web sites. I'll look at Nat. Geo.

The river dolphins are shown in the panel showing the 'Igapo' type forest. Look in the bottom left of the image.
