possible new and impressive OG forest

This blogger came across an impressive old-growth woodlot. Not sure if this is known or not. Look at the size of the White Ash! It was said to be under development threat in late 2012. It's perhaps been paved over or saved since then or perhaps still in immediate need of preservation. No idea.

He has a lot of really impressive picture of other old-growth in Ohio (and occasionally out of state) as well!

He should be involved with NTS. He seems to have some serious tree knowledge and doesn't exaggerate his findings. I'd doubt that plot would become a housing development but it certainly is danger of being logged. Ohio has quite a few old growth woodlots, but many are surrounded by fields with little protection from winds. Of course, they're very small woodlots.
