Steve, The needles in your photo resemble Long Leaf but the cone is way to small. Norway Pine is another widely planted tree in the north. Man this fun trying to figure out. Larry

James, The St. Johns Cathedral Oak is 30' CBH, 55.5' Height, whats cool its spread is the most perfect I've seen 153' x 153'. Looks like a big green snowball. Steve, The bark doesn't quite look right, it looks more like loblolly. But the cone is very similar. I'll get some cones and will compare them. Larry

Steve, Beautiful flowers! I'm attaching two photos of the Ms. State Champion Southern Magnolia. It should be the National Champion. Age is around 300 years estimated. More likely 200-250. Larry

Steve, Awesome! I don't see that white stuff (snow) in your yard. Hey Steve ,when it flowers post some photos. I'll do the same, usually our Magnolias flower in Late April thru June. Larry
