Bob-
Nice work you guys!
I hope to contribute with some of the larger Oaks and Pines
I've measured in the past.

Brian-
That's quite a listing you have compiled. Great work.
I'm sure that took some time.
I haven't been on the BBS site much lately.
I will start posting more on here.

Re: New mission?
Hi Bob- I have always enjoyed our site and glad to part of such a great organization. There have been a few glitches on the BBS in the past and I think that has been the reason for nonparticipation. I switched my postings about trees to our Facebook Page these last couple of years. I'm excited to he...

BBS Site Back Up!

Great to have the site up again. Thanks to Ed I'm guessing. I've been busy this Fall measuring some nice superlative trees.
Two trips to Bienville NFs and one to Noxubee NWR. I'll get my work together and put it up now that we're up and running.

50m Wow congratulations! It is likely that many Pines in the South equaled are exceeded that height but that was long ago.
Ms. Loblollies are starting to reach heights of 150' and it is likely that in my lifetime they could attain heights of 160+.

Bob-
I remember your post over the years on this Grove. So how many years did it take them to get from 120's to almost 140'?
Love the new name -
I'm guessing 2' a year so around 10.

Congratulations on breaking 1000 cubes. Those are some awesome Hemlocks! The scale is off the charts and it makes me want to compare some of the southern Loblolly Pine. I believe we have a few that might make the 1000 cube club.

Re: White Pine Report on MTSF Jun 5, 2019
Bob- Fantastic write up on the White Pines of Mohawk. I'm glad to have helped contribute some data on the Whites in Wisconsin. I and Paul Jost have both measured White Pine to over 150' in the great grove of northern Wisconsin -Cathedral Pines. One of only a few remaining Old Growth Pine stands in W...
