Ed,
I like the idea. I think if it is like this one, outdoor participation, then it would should be linked to one of our gatherings. Others could used to buy supplies for a school field trip. What good is the info that we gather if not to share it with others including the next generation.

That is totally awesome. Who would have thought that a yellow buckeye could attain 170'+.

Grape vine

I was hiking in Germantown Metropark near Germantown, Ohio and I found this grapevine. I didn't have any of my normal measuring equipment with me so I had to use my "hat-tape". I just got through reading on Yahoo news that most of the oil is gone. Where? well bateria ate it. I am sure that there will be way to many people that will believe this. God, the public is so gulible.
