Re: The Death of Champion

I'm glad to be back. Health issues took me out for a long time. I'm still not up to par but I'm getting tuned up.

Re: Old Logging Photos in Texas

I wish that we all could back in time to see the eastern forest as they were before all the logging companys came through. It would also be nice to see what they would have looked like with out any human intervention.

Re: white deer

There was a article in the Missouri Conservationist about some hunter killing an albino baby deer. They said it wouldn't make through the winter. MY A@@! There was a pic too. The only thing I wanted to was take the hunter's gun and hit over the head with it as hard as I could.

St. Louis Blizzard of 2011

St. Louis City is now under a Blizzard Warning. Last night we got up 1/2" of ice mixed with sleet and snow. This morning, in a line NE to SW with St. Louis City on the line, is the dividing line between thundersnow and thundersleet. They are predicting to convert over to all snow about noon wit...

Re: Autumn Anomalies: Seen Any in Your Neighborhood?

I thought Larches lost their leaves in the fall like bald cypresses. If this is so why wouldn't they turn color?
