Funny this came up. I was looking at two red spruce about 30 ft apart just outside my land. Gorgeous trees about 80 ft, I figure. Then I noticed a sugar maple between them. it was about 8 inches thick but the same height as the spruce. I was impressed.

navy island next to buckhorn but in Canada is old growth with shumard.

There is more than one way to describe it but the simplest is I saw the img code on the ends of the lines and just copy pasted to a new post.

I searched Dollarhide but didn't find much. It is a very exclusive club as Kelly describes it. They likely would be interested in their trees, though. Lidar may show some details, too. It seems like a good spot as Kelly says bottomland timber has been trashed all over. I couldn't find any references...
