I do not know much about Georgia. I just run into the site when I was searching hiking trip possibilities for coming years. I suppose the tourist infrastructure is quite undeveloped at the moment, but the region has a great potential, indeed. Georgia should be peaceful excluding Abkhazia and South Ossetia which now consider themself independent states.
